Man of Iron

IF YOU DON’T WANT TO KNOW ANY MINOR PLOT DETAILS ABOUT IRON MAN PLEASE DO NOT READ BELOW.

I saw IRON MAN and really liked it. The summer movie season is off to a good start.

A friend, who had seen the movie before me, told me that early on in IRON MAN there was a part where you, as the audience, would have to take a major leap of faith and buy into the movie. But he didn’t tell me where it was.

After seeing it, I’ve deduced it is one of the following:

1) There is no conceivable way that Tony Stark could have done all of that work on the first suit in one night while stuck in a cave. No freakin’ way.

2) There is no conceivable way that Tony Stark would have been able to survive that crash while escaping from the bad guys while in that first suit.

3) There is no conceivable way that a man, who has just spent three months being held captive in Afghanistan and upon return immediately orders a cheeseburger, is next seen holding a bag from Burger King.
